You may be invited to participate in a study that requires you to complete a test outside of the UserCrowd platform. When invited to these types of studies, you will always be informed of this requirement in your invitation notification as well as the first page when you open the study.

Privacy

To protect your privacy, it is important that you do not share the following information during the test:

  • Personal information (like your name, email or address)

  • Login details for personal accounts

  • Sensitive data (like health or medical information)

  • Financial info (like credit card numbers or payment logins)

If this information is requested during the study, please report the test.

What to expect

When participating in a study that requires you to visit an external website, you may be given instructions to:

  • Provide your Participant ID

  • Input a completion code

If you are asked to provide a participant ID during the external study, the UserCrowd instructions interface will display your participant ID. Simply copy and paste this ID into the external study.

If you are displayed a completion code input box on the Usercrowd instructions interface, you will need to copy and paste the completion code provided at the end of the external study into this text box to receive payment.

If the UserCrowd interface is requesting a completion code but you are not provided one at the end of the external study, please report the study noting that you were not provided with a completion code.
